Q: Do I have to register to come to the
Saturday Maniac Basketball Development Training?
A: No, there is no need to register
beforehand. Players simply turn up at Rutherford at the appropriate time
on a Saturday, pay their $3.50 and enjoy the training

Q: Do we play games during the Saturday
Development? A: Yes, but not exclusively. The Saturday
Development is designed to teach fundamental Basketball skills. The
games are put in place so that the newly learned skills can be used.

Q: Do I need to bring a basketball with me
to the Saturday Development? A: No, all equipment is supplied
including bibs, cones and basketballs. However, some people like to
bring their own ball and that is perfectly acceptable.

Q: Do we get to play games? A: Yes, during the
morning sessions there are a minimum of 5 3on3 games. And the afternoon
session included full court 5on5 games. Both 3on3 and 5on5 are
tournament play for the first 2 days leading to Championship playoffs on the
final day.

Q: Are parents allowed to come and watch their players
at Camps? A: Yes, not only are they allowed, but they are encouraged to
attend whenever possible. On the final day you might also want to bring
your camera as there will be lots of photo opportunities!

Q: Can a player attend a Camp if they've never played
Basketball? A: Yes, the Camps are designed to cater for all levels of
player including beginners. Instruction in Basketball fundamentals
happens at the start of every day. Players are grouped by ability as
well as age. Everyone is welcome.
